
The Onboarding Experience
How might we portray the culture at Bixal to new hires?
The Human-Centered Design team at Bixal had at least 7 open positions at the time this project came to light. As a recent hire, I also had a fresh perspective on the current onboarding process and wanted to improve upon it. Resources felt scattered, getting to know the team in a remote setting was increasingly difficult, and I often felt lost in the sauce of a new job. I took on this project to support the newest additions to the design team by making them feel welcome, cared about, and informed.
